Frequently Asked Questions

General

What is Nourishubs?

Nourishubs is a unified food, nutrition and ordering platform that connects people, organisations and food providers in one ecosystem.

Whether you are a parent ordering meals for your child, an employee ordering lunch at the office, a child attending an Early Learning Centre, an athlete at a sports organisation, or another member of a participating organisation, Nourishubs gives you access to convenient meal ordering, nutritional information and a range of food options through one platform.

Nourishubs works with Early Learning Centres, schools, corporate offices, sports centres and other organisations to make food more accessible, transparent and convenient for their communities.

What is Nourishubs trying to achieve?

Nourishubs is building a community centred around choice, nutritional transparency, accountability and convenience.

Our goal is to make it easier for people to understand what they are eating, access a wider range of food choices and make informed decisions — while giving organisations and food providers the technology and insights they need to deliver better food experiences.

How does Nourishubs work?

Nourishubs brings together three key groups:

1. Users – children, parents, employees, athletes, staff and other members of participating organisations.
2. Organisations – Early Learning Centres, schools, offices, sports centres and other participating organisations.
3. Food Partners – approved food vendors, caterers and food providers.

Depending on your organisation, you may be able to:

• Browse available menus and food providers
• View ingredients, allergens and nutritional information
• Order meals for yourself or for another user you manage
• Select delivery dates, locations and available meal periods
• Manage multiple profiles from one account
• Track and manage your orders
• Access nutrition and food information through your dashboard

Your Nourishubs experience is tailored to the organisation you are connected to.

Do I need a separate Nourishubs account for each organisation?

No. Nourishubs is designed around one unified account.

If you are connected to more than one participating organisation, your eligible profiles, organisations, orders and services can be managed through the same Nourishubs account, subject to each organisation's settings.

For example, a parent may manage their children's school or ELC meals while also using Nourishubs personally through their workplace.

Can one account manage multiple people?

Yes.

Depending on your role and permissions, one account can manage multiple profiles.

For example, a parent may manage profiles for multiple children, while an individual employee may simply use their own profile to order meals.

Is Nourishubs only for children?

No.

Nourishubs was initially developed around school meals, but the platform has evolved to support people of different ages and organisations.

Users can include:

• Children in ELCs
• School students
• Parents and families
• Employees
• Athletes
• Coaches and staff
• Organisation members
• Other users supported by participating organisations

Is there a subscription fee?

There are no mandatory user subscriptions simply to use Nourishubs.

Users generally pay for the meals or services they choose to purchase. Specific fees, subsidies, discounts or charges may vary depending on the organisation and programme.

Why should I use Nourishubs?

Nourishubs brings food ordering, nutrition information and organisation management together in one platform.

Greater Transparency

Is Nourishubs safe and secure?

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how personal information is collected, used and protected.

Don't worry.

Does my organisation have to be partnered with Nourishubs before I can sign up?

Not necessarily.

You may be able to create a Nourishubs account before your organisation is onboarded. However, access to organisation-specific services, menus and ordering may only become available once the organisation has joined Nourishubs.

For Users, Parents & Families

Can I order food for myself?

Yes.

Nourishubs is not limited to parents ordering meals for children.

Depending on the organisation you are connected to, you may be able to order meals for yourself, your child or another authorised profile.

Can I order for my child?

Yes.

Parents or authorised guardians can manage child profiles and place orders on their behalf where this service is enabled by the organisation.

Do I need a separate account for each child?

No.

One account can support multiple child profiles, including children attending different participating organisations, subject to the relevant permissions.

Can my partner and I both access our children's profiles?

Where supported, authorised family members can access relevant profiles.

For account security and order management, we recommend using the appropriate account-sharing or profile-management functionality rather than creating duplicate accounts for the same person.

I work at an organisation that uses Nourishubs and my child attends a school that also uses Nourishubs. Do I need two accounts?

No.

Nourishubs is designed around a unified account experience.

Where both organisations are connected to your Nourishubs account, you can access the relevant services from the same account rather than maintaining separate Nourishubs accounts.

How far in advance can I order?

This depends on the organisation, food provider and meal programme.

Your dashboard will display the available ordering dates and applicable deadlines.

What is the order cutoff time?

Order cutoff times are determined by the relevant organisation and/or food provider.

Where applicable, orders may need to be placed up to 48 hours before delivery.

Your Nourishubs dashboard will display the applicable cutoff time for each available order.

What happens if I or my child is absent?

If you or the relevant user is unable to attend the organisation on the scheduled delivery date, contact Nourishubs support as soon as possible.

Whether an order can be cancelled, deferred or amended depends on the applicable cutoff time and the organisation's policy.

How do I cancel or modify an order?

Contact support@nourishubs.com or use the available support functionality within Nourishubs.

Please note that cancellations or modifications may not be possible after the applicable order cutoff.

What happens if there is a delivery problem?

Nourishubs works with participating food providers and organisations to manage delivery issues.

If a food provider is unable to fulfil an order, Nourishubs may arrange an alternative solution where possible.

Where a replacement meal is required, we will take reasonable steps to accommodate declared dietary requirements and allergies.

Can I order breakfast, lunch or other meals?

Yes, where the organisation and food provider have enabled those services.

Available meal periods may include:

• Breakfast
• Morning snacks
• Lunch
• Afternoon snacks
• Dinner
• Events or special catering

The options available to you will be displayed on your Nourishubs dashboard.

Can I use Nourishubs if I have an allergy or dietary requirement?

Yes, Nourishubs allows relevant users to provide information about allergies and dietary requirements.

Menus can display relevant ingredients, allergens and dietary information where this information has been provided and verified.

Examples may include vegetarian, halal or other dietary requirements.

For severe allergies, additional information or verification may be required before an order can be placed.

Important: Nourishubs provides food and nutrition information to support informed choices. It does not replace advice from a qualified medical professional or dietitian.

Will eating utensils be provided?

Utensils depend on the food provider and organisation.

Nourishubs encourages food providers to minimise unnecessary single-use items and use recyclable or more sustainable packaging where practical.

I am having issues with my account or app. What should I do?

Contact support@nourishubs.com and our support team will assist you.
